On Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, the Santa Clara Valley Water District will begin street repairs on Granada Way from the gate entrance into the Rinconada Water Treatment Plant to Capistrano Place.
Repair work will take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. for about one week. During that period, the district will limit parking on Granada and post “No Parking” signs. Crews will accommodate local traffic, but residents should expect slight delays.
The gate is one of the main construction vehicle entryways to the water treatment plant. During construction, the vehicles will use the More Avenue gate entrance to access the plant. Fencing and landscaping will take place within the treatment plant alongside Granada Way soon after the district completes the paving work. The pipeline is a safety feature designed to manage emergency overflows.
