Project progress, traffic impacts to highlight May 25 public meeting

Join the water district’s project team and contractors on Wednesday, May 25 to discuss the progress of the $260 million Reliability Improvement Project taking place at the treatment plant.

This 6 p.m. meeting takes place in the Rolling Hills Middle School multi-purpose room, located at 1585 More Ave. The presentation will also review the district’s approach to reduce traffic impacts, which the district acknowledges as a critical neighborhood concern.

The team will address traffic volumes and flow along the approved construction route and bring the neighborhood up to speed on the steps taken – and planned to take – to alleviate any issues. Staff will also answer any questions about additional concerns.

Please confirm your attendance via email at or by calling the project’s neighborhood liaison, Tony Mercado, at 408-630-2342.
